Whether you're a beginner looking to learn scuba diving or an experienced diver seeking new underwater adventures, Fuerteventura offers a range of diving opportunities. Our school, Diving Atlantis, provides a safe and enjoyable experience for divers of all levels.
Located in front of the beach in La Lajita, our school offers a great location, well-cared-for equipment, and friendly, highly trained instructors who will guide you on the most exciting dives of Fuerteventura. Divers can encounter colorful fish, rays, moray eels, octopuses, barracudas, and occasionally even larger species, like angel sharks or loggerhead turtles.
The pleasant climate of Fuerteventura allows our scuba diving center to welcome divers throughout the year.

This is the most popular scuba diving course and serves as the entry point for beginners. It covers essential skills, knowledge, and safety procedures for scuba diving. The course includes e-learning (online theory), a confined water dive with a comprehensive set of exercises, 4 open water dives and a certification by PADI, the world’s most renowned scuba diving federation. Throughout the course, you will practice essential scuba skills under the guidance of our experienced instructor. Upon completing the Open Water Diver (OWD) course, you'll receive a certification that allows you to dive to a maximum depth of 18 meters in any country around the world.
If you don’t have enough time to complete full course, you can opt for the PADI Scuba Diver course, which is a shortened version of the OWD course, and takes only 1 day. Later on you can upgrade your license to Open Water Diver in any PADI dive center in the world. The Scuba Diver license allows you to dive down to 12 meters.

The AOWD course is designed to improve your diving skills and expand your knowledge beyond the basic Open Water Diver certification. You will study various topics related to diving, such as deep diving, underwater navigation, night diving, wreck diving, buoyancy control, and more. You will complete 5 dives focusing on specific areas of diving under the supervision of our highly trained scuba instructor. This certification opens up new diving opportunities and enables you to dive to a maximum depth of 30 meters. It is an excellent way to gain more experience and confidence as a diver and get ready for more challenging dive sites and conditions.
E-learning, gear, and PADI AOWD license included
PADI Deep Diver specialty is designed to equip divers with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely plan and conduct dives to depths of up to 40 meters. During the Deep Diver specialty course, you will learn about the physiological effects, equipment considerations, and planning procedures associated with deep diving. You will also explore techniques for managing gas supply, handling potential hazards, and dealing with emergency situations that may occur during deep dives.
E-learning, gear, and PADI Deep Diver license included
Although not specific to diving, this course provides essential skills and knowledge for emergency response in various situations, including diving-related incidents. The Emergency First Response course teaches you primary care (CPR) and secondary care (first aid) techniques, as well as how to handle emergency situations and provide basic life support. The training consists of knowledge development, skill practice, and scenario-based assessments. Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive an EFR certification, which remains valid for two years.

The PADI Rescue Diver course teaches you how to prevent and effectively manage diving emergencies. It focuses on building your confidence and knowledge, enabling you to become a competent and capable diver who can provide assist yourself and others in case of emergencies. The course covers topics such as self-rescue, recognizing and managing stress in other divers, emergency management, and rescue techniques. During your Rescue Diver training, you will receive theoretical classes from your instructor, practice a set of skills in the water, and complete the course by participating in open water rescue scenarios.

Divemaster is the first professional level in the PADI system of diver education. As a PADI Divemaster, you will acquire a high level of diving knowledge, skills, and experience, qualifying you to assist PADI instructors with dive courses and accompany certified divers on recreational dives. The Divemaster course involves knowledge development, practical application, and hands-on training. It covers topics such as dive theory, diving physics, physiology, equipment, environment, and dive planning. You will learn about dive leadership and how to supervise dive activities, assist with student divers, and conduct certain PADI programs. To complete the Divemaster course, you need to have 60 registered dives, and pass the final exams, which include written assessments, practical application evaluations, and a rescue assessment. Become a professional in the dive industry!
Additional costs: Divemaster materials (270 euros), and the PADI federation annual fee upon completing the course (about 125 euros).

You can book scuba diving in Fuerteventura on our website 6 hours or more before the start of the activity. If you would like to book at the last minute, please contact us by phone or WhatsApp.
If you're staying in a private apartment, you need to send us its exact address (and pin on the map if possible) and on the day of the scuba diving tour, please wait for the transfer outside of the building.
